Good Afternoon Leggett Valley Unified School District. This is Dr. Ritchley with some new and exciting news to pass on! We have two new assessment tools named STAR Reading and Star Math. Over the next few months you might hear your students talking about these assessments. These new assessments will give your teachers a better understanding your students reading, comprehension, and math levels. This information will help your teachers guide instruction and better plan for the needs of our students. As Superintendent, I look forward to using this information to help guide our district, as we navigate through this pandemic. Thank You and have a nice weekend, a three day weekend.

Good Morning Leggett Valley Schools, this is Jeffrey Ritchley, your Principal, calling all parents, guardians, and caregivers to serve as a member on our LVS Site Council. We have three parent site council representatives that we would like to fill for the reminder of the year. Nominations to serve on the site council start today and run through February 9th or 10th. Serving on the site council is a one school year commitment, and we will meet monthly from this month forward. Ballots will be sent home to vote on February 9. Our first meeting will be on February 15, 2021 at 4:30. If you want to nominate yourself or someone else please let Stephanie know in the main office. Long Valley Health will be on campus for a Covid-19 vaccine clinic tomorrow, 10AM to 11AM. This is for anyone ages 5 and older OR 16 and older for a booster. Parent permission and attendance is required for first time dose. Call Stephanie @ 707-925-6285 if you have any questions.
Good Morning, this is Dr. Jeff Ritchley, Superintendent of Leggett Valley Unified School District. This morning two students tested positive for COVID-19 and were sent home. All parents were notified that had contact with the positive students. Most students that had contact were vaccinated and may remain in school. We are sending home a box of self tests for each student and staff member. This is to test before coming back to school while on the Winter Break. Instructions are included. Please have your student test on Jan.6th. and Jan. 9th. We return to school on the Jan. 10th.
