Dual Credit and Early College

The Leggett Valley Dual Credit Program provides students across the district with meaningful opportunities to earn college credit and explore career pathways while still in high school. Through our partnership with Mendocino College, approximately 85% of Leggett Valley students take at least one college course, and one-third of our graduates earn an Associate of Arts (AA) degree by the time they graduate high school.

Students can choose from a combination of in-person college courses taught by Leggett Staff in a high school classroom environment, in-person classes at Mendocino College campus and online coursework. Students can pursue U.C. and C.S.U. transferable coursework, seek a college degree, or earn a career certificate in a wide variety of fields, including Culinary Arts, Fire Science, and Construction.

Our goal is to make college and career opportunities accessible to every Leggett Valley student—empower them to explore interests, earn valuable credentials, and graduate prepared for their future.
