About Leggett Valley
The Leggett Valley Schools offer grades PreK-12 and are necessary small schools. They are located at the junction of Highway 101 and Highway1, in the small rural community of Leggett.
The Leggett Valley School site provides core curriculum for its K-12 students and operates a state preschool.
The services of special programs are shared with the Whale Gulch Schools. The Leggett Valley Site boasts an online computer lab and houses the Mendocino Adventure Ropes Course, which is designed for team and confidence building in students.
Essential to the success of the District’s efforts for students are many active organizations: the Board of Trustees, the Leggett Valley Booster Club and the School Site Council.
